Jayso Foundation ("we") built Krusham as a free super-app for Indian farmers. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. What We Collect

• Phone number: To verify your identity via OTP
• Name: To personalize the app
• Location: To show nearby mandi prices and local weather
• Photos: To scan crop diseases (photos are analyzed by AI and not stored on our servers)
• Crops you select: To show relevant prices and recommendations
• Farm diary entries: Your farming activities and expenses
• Chat messages: Your conversations with the AI assistant
• Device info and crash logs: To fix bugs and improve the app

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Aadhaar or government ID numbers
• Bank account or financial details
• Contact list or call logs
• Browsing history

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide personalized farming advice, mandi prices, and weather
• To diagnose crop diseases from photos you take
• To send you mandi price and weather alert notifications
• To improve the app and fix bugs

4. Who Can See Your Data

• Only you can see your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.
• We use Firebase (by Google) to store your data securely.
• Crop photos are sent to Google Gemini AI for disease analysis only. They are not stored after analysis.
• Weather and mandi price APIs receive only your location coordinates, not your identity.

5. Data Storage

• Your data is stored on your phone (offline) and in Firebase cloud servers.
• All data is encrypted during transfer (HTTPS).
• Firebase servers are located in secure Google data centers.

6. Your Rights

• You can delete your account and all data anytime from the Profile screen.
• You can change your language, location, and crops anytime.
• You can turn off notifications anytime from Profile settings.
• For any data request, email us at tech@jaysofoundation.org. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

• Krusham is not designed for children under 18.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

• We may update this policy. The latest version will always be available in the app and on our website.
